The Avengers: Age Of Ultron. What To Expect

At comic con Marvel announced the title for the Avengers Sequel. To many peoples suprise it looks like Thanos will not feature. He may have a small cameo but we have no idea. The Villain of this film will be Ultron. Whedon has said that this film will only be loosely based on the comic book and we can expect an original story. Thanos will appear in Guardians Of The Galaxy and may appear as the villain in Avengers 3.

Ultron is an Artificual Intenllegence robot with super powers. In the comics he was created by Ant man. As Edgar Wright has taken his time with Ant Man, Weadon has stated that he will not appear in this film. The origins of Ultron will need to be tweaked. Many people are already suggesting he is a creation of Tony Stark. That would make the most sense and would work.

We can also assume that the Avengers team is going to get larger. With Captain America: The Winter Soldier we can assume that Falcon will join the Avengers and appear in this film. Whedon has also stated that Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch will join the team. Aaron Taylor-Johnson has met up with Whedon and is going to be playing Quicksilver. Scarlet Witch is yet to be cast and rumors are slow.

Vin Disel is also rumored to appear in this sequel. At comic con he announced that he will be staring in Marvel Studios productions but his role is top secret. Many suggest he will be playing Vision but lets wait and see.

Annoyingly this film may become too cluttered with characters. So they may need to phase out some of the current Avengers if they are to bring on all these new members. The team will be able to get a bit bigger first but if Marvel Studios wants it to happen all these chracters will join the team. And then I will have the same concern as Days of Future Past.

The Avengers was a box office hit and I am sure that this will make the same amount of money or more and will be equally as good. Whedon is a comic book fan and loves all of his projects so I really think he is the right man for the job and I trust his judgement with characters at the moment.
