The Golden Globes does not only celebrate movies but it also celebrates Television shows. I do think that Television has delivered so many great shows. This year we saw the final series of Breaking Bad which was excellent. Netflix has also made a splash this year with House Of Cards, Arrested Development, Hemlock Grove and Orange Is The New Black. House Of Cards, Arrested Development and Orange Is The New Black have all picked up nominations at the globes this year.

The reason that I love television shows is that I feel you get to know the characters a great deal more and the shows seem to be more intimate. I feel that the shows on television regardless of their content are able to attract audiences as the level of intimacy is relatable on so many levels. Shows continue to deliver high quality and great stories and the audience love it. Some shows I love have been snubbed by the Golden Globes but I am glad to see some of my favorites make the list.

I think that Breaking Bad will clean up at the Golden Globes this year. I felt the final season really delivered and I don’t know many people who were disappointing with the ending. Even people who were disappointing with the ending, none of them will claim that the show was rubbish. As many claim now we are in a golden age of television and this will not end anytime soon. Netflix is currently changing the way we watch programmes and is aiming to evolve constantly. There will always be a place for television shows in the entertainment industry and I think it is a far more popular and cheaper medium that the movie industry.
